Reflect Your Best Self with a Yoga Class

Slow Yoga
with Roy Holman
Sunday, February 23, 2014 | 1-4p | Cost: $40

“SloYo” is just that, yoga done slowly, mindfully and breathfully. We begin slow and easy then progress into stronger poses, while still moving easily, following the flow of our breath and body. Then we take the body deeper into longer holds and stretches in the yin tradition, leaving you feeling blissed and blessed. We will emphasize breathe connection and extension (pranayama), while balancing yang with yin. Experience the peaceful power of the ABCs of yoga: Awareness, Breath and Connection.

If you attended Roy’s workshop, please don’t be shy about leaving a comment below about your experience. It may help others considering taking his class next time it’s offered. Thanks!

Sunday Special Workshop
Grounding & Emerging: Hips & Twists
with Elizabeth Rainey
Sunday, January 26, 2014 | 1-4p | Cost: $50

Grounding through our pelvis allows us to settle our energy, support our spine and feel nourished from our roots. As a result we can safely emerge up and out through our spine to connect, turn and meet life moment to moment. In this workshop we will explore how to safely open your hips to access the potency of steadiness and ground. From this place we will investigate the unfolding and unwinding of twists as we emerge up the spine and offer ourselves out to the world.
