Drop-In: Gentle Yoga – Ongoing, both In-Studio and Virtual classes. Since Covid, we have been focusing on Gentle Yoga classes at 10 am most days of the week. We see the benefits of yoga for healing, for body and mind, and for feeling better all over. The Gentle classes are generally slow-paced and cultivate a meditative approach to the poses and breath awareness. These classes are ideal for anyone recovering from injuries or with a limited range. These classes also welcome pre and post-natal students. We take our time to increase strength and flexibility and increase our ability to handle stress. This approach to yoga will be dictated by class needs and is focused on healing, renewing, and re-balancing your life energy.
Drop-In: General Yoga – typically Mondays and Tuesdays @ 10 am. These classes are a bit more fast-paced than the Gentle Yoga classes, with a few more strong poses offered. Still, the focus is on yoga as a healing practice, so modifications are offered to accommodate individual needs. As with all of yoga, greater flexibility and strength are increased over time, as well as better balance. Self-awareness and self-acceptance deepen over time, as the many benefits of yoga manifest in our lives.
Beginning Yoga Course of Five Classes Both In-studio and Virtual.
This popular series of five Classes are for those who want to learn and/or review basic yoga poses, breath awareness, mental focus, and stress reduction in a course of study that builds greater knowledge of yoga over five weeks. This is a class that is often repeated for review and exploring nuance and a greater understanding of this rich practice.
Only $85 for five classes. Preregistration is required – eight students minimum.
