Candace McKenna

Candace started practicing yoga 20 years ago to complement hiking and running and counteract sitting at a desk for her work in software, but what she encountered in yoga was so much more. Candace sings and yoga has introduced her to the practice of pranayama which has complemented and enhanced her singing. Over the years her yoga journey has also led her through physical healing – like peeling the layers of an onion – one issue identified and addressed which in turn revealed the next (she’s happy to share details – just ask). Perhaps most importantly, her yoga journey has been a spiritual one as she encounters and embraces the wisdom of this many thousand-year-old practices. Her teaching emphasizes asana form, breathing, and aspects of all the 8 limbs of yoga.
