Bonnie’s mother introduced her to yoga at a young age. “One of my earliest memories is of us getting up early to practice sun salutation (Surya Namaskar B). The sun rising and beaming through the window, and the only sound in the room was her deep calm breath. All those years ago my mother would never have guessed how much yoga would mean to me today, and at just the right moment, I was able to appreciate it. Yoga has taught me to examine the discomfort, ask the hard question of “why?”, and show it compassion. Amazed at the healing power of yoga in my own body, I decided to get my 200YTR certificate from YogaSpirit studio under the instruction of Suzanne Silvermoon. I am currently working on my Masters of Science in Nutrition and my Health and Fitness Technician certificate with the intention of combining these powerful ways of life for a symbiotic path of holistic healing. With a focus is on adults and seniors who are in need of relief, hope and strength.”
