If you are a teacher or are thinking of teaching, come to this informal workshop to
learn techniques, new moves, and ideas for transitions - all to deepen your knowledge and inspire your teaching. This workshop will explore helpful tips for asana, pranayama and meditation practices.

Shamanic Journeying
January 28st [1:30 - 3:30PM] with Michelle McKinney
Journeying is a self-empowering skill that can be used for personal healing and enrichment. Using a drumbeat, our brainwaves slow to a meditative state where we have direct access to the realm of spirit. Benefits include enhanced relaxation, personal empowerment, physical and emotional healing, a way to explore dreams, making a connection and developing a relationship with our helping spirits, and connecting with information and help in solving problems.

Partner Yoga
February 11th [1:30 - 3:30PM] with
KIM and
KRYSTAL
Come alone or with a partner and explore the many playful possibilities in Partner Yoga. A number of yoga poses are enhanced using the reciprocal strengths of a partner. This is a chance to expand your yoga repertoire and explore the connections and support of a partner. Have a great time with these two charismatic teachers, Kim and Krystal. All levels.

Power Yoga
February 25th, 1:30-3:30PM with
CANDACE JORDAN
Join in this vigorous form of yoga as you build strength and stamina. Many athletes use yoga as a preparation to increase their physical and mental skills. Build strength, focus, and flexibility as you practice this invigorating and fun form of yoga. There will be emphasis on core strength and endurance. Be prepared to sweat.

Detoxify with Yoga and Naturopathic Medicine

The stresses of life often call for rebalancing and cleansing. In this session, practice restorative poses in yoga, gain knowledge in naturopathic support of symptoms to detoxify and restore health. Minimum of ten participants.

Straps & Poles

Integrate Yoga and Pilates
to get the ultimate stretch. Build strength through the resistance of straps and pole work.
You will find a more intense and directed use of internal and external body muscles. Breath work
and concentration will sharpen your experience in creating a healthier body/mind connection. All levels.

Intermediate Hatha Yoga

Come to this balanced Iyengar style Hatha yoga class to increase your yoga knowledge, and have an energizing time with this experienced, highly trained teacher. Jim's warm and supportive teaching style will challenge those who want to practice at a deeper level - a year of previous yoga practice recommended. Minimum of ten participants.

The Asana-In-Between

In any art there is a mysterious quality often called beauty. To achieve that quality there is a technical order that permits beauty its full expression. Learn to craft the “pose-in-between-the-pose,” focusing on transition as an asana in itself and develop skill to encourage seamless connections while traversing from pose to pose. Naga Yoga

Kara has been involved in yoga both as a student and as a teacher for most of her life. She is the highly respected owner of Movement Arts in Arlington, where she offers her evolving and eclectic style of Naga Yoga. -a mindful and powerful practice, linking breath to movement. Kara offers a healing, holistic practice that "brings the happiness that is sometimes sleeping inside of a person." All Levels

Strength and Endurance for the Young Athlete - 7 - 18 Years Old

This class will be a well rounded introduction to the practice of yoga and Pilates. The emphasis will be to support and enhance the young athlete's abilities to build more strength, flexibility, balance, focus, and endurance. All Levels.

Individual two hour Sunday Sessions are $25 each; $22 for Yoga Circle Studio class card holders.
