Kim Brethauer has been practicing yoga continuously for the last two years. She was brought into the practice by a friend and fell in love with it. Kim is currently working on her certification and spending as much time doing yoga and Pilates as possible.
Candace Jordan is a Licensed Massage Practioneer and AFAA certified. She had been practicing yoga for 14 years and teaching for 8. She enjoys teaching an Iyengar and Vinyasa style yoga that encourages students to access their inner strength by engaging their core muscles, mind, and spirit. She asks that you really explore the edges of experience in the asanas (poses) by being present on the mat with the intent of kindness and receptivity. She encourages students to be amazed by what their bodies CAN do -- how they can hold themselves up in a strong, graceful posture -- taking what they learn on the mat out into their homes and into the world.

Fate happened when Dorrinda Carlson
was seeking more than ‘a shot in the arm’ to aid her shoulder issues: a yoga studio opened in her neighborhood in North Everett. Since then, the studio is gone…but so are Dorrinda’s shoulder pains! Yoga blossomed from a strengthening remedy into a greater need to be aware.
Dorrinda knew that teaching was the next natural step to share her passion. She has been teaching locally for two YMCAs as well as for private clients during the past year and a half since becoming certified from the Pacific Yoga Teacher Training. With a gentle emphasis on alignment, she encourages yogis to breathe, to be present in the moment. Yoga is a journey not a goal. Her journey, she feels is just beginning.
Along with yoga, Dorrinda keeps the household schedule for the pre-teen performer and the business-owner hubby. She has a fair amount on her schedule, too, with book club, supper club, art docent and various other volunteer jobs. Yoga is her foundation to keep up with all the daily happenings and all of life’s ups and downs.
Jacquelyn Sterna is known for her compassionate yet disciplined approach to yoga. Jacquelyn offers more than 10 years teaching experience and well-rounded professional training to her students.
